In an effort to make our city even greener, we donate 10% of our profit to organizations dedicated to planting trees, cultivating community gardens, cleaning up parks, and more. We even let you choose which organization will benefit from the proceeds of your trip.

Green Organizations We Support

“Our mission is to plant, preserve, protect and care for New York's trees through education and action. We are active in all five boroughs of New York City and the surrounding region.”

Founded in the 70's, Trees New York is the only organization in the region which focuses solely on urban trees and forestry. It supports several programs including a tree planting program.

Celebrated entertainer Bette Midler founded the nonprofit New York Restoration Project (NYRP) in 1995 in the belief that clean, green neighborhoods are fundamental to the quality of life, and that every community in New York City deserves an oasis of natural beauty. Seeing many parks and open spaces in dire need of cleanup and restoration, Ms. Midler created NYRP to be the "conservancy of forgotten places," particularly in New York City's underserved communities. This organization is a 501(c)(3) Public Charity.

Green Guerrillas uses a unique mix of education, organizing and advocacy to help people cultivate community gardens, sustain grassroots groups, and coalitions, engage youth, paint colorful murals, and address issues critical to the future of their gardens. This organization is a 501(c)(3) Public Charity.

1Sky is a new national campaign in the United States catalyzing a society-wide movement in support of bold federal action to tackle global warming. The 1Sky policy platform represents the scientific bottom line - the solutions we must implement immediately to avert catastrophic climate change and transition to a green economy. The 1Sky strategy combines powerful field and organizing, voter education, and Internet and communications strategies to communicate a highly visible public demand for Congress and the President to implement the 1Sky platform as quickly as possible.
